We decided that we would do our best to make Easter about the Savior, since that is what it is really about. We are okay with our kids participating in egg hunts and enjoying the 'commercial' aspect, but don't want Easter to be about gifts. On Easter morning, Ethan woke up to an empty basket to symbolize Christ's empty tomb. He also got a new board book about Easter and some new Church clothes. On Sunday evening we went to Ryan's parents house and Ethan couldn't hold still for a photo. Here's the best we could get with Ethan sporting his handsome Church apparel.
