Since there were some problems with schedules Easter weekend, the Bowman side of the family postponed a get together for today. We enjoyed a nice meal - ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, green beans, and rolls. The kids were anxious and excited for an egg hunt. Ethan, on the other hand, was prematurely woken from his nap and was not in the most pleasant of moods. He was put in time out right before the kids lined up and had a hard time waiting for everyone to gather.
He decided to hit and didn't get to start when everyone else did. After the other kids were out gathering eggs, he realized he was missing out and changed his demeanor. He had fun looking around for them on the Ranger, in the sandbox, on the ground, and in trees. He was super excited to find one egg with a smile on it. He was even more excited to find that there was candy inside! Apparently he forgot from last year... maybe next year he'll wait better since he knows what is coming.
