Today we had a full morning of doctor appointments. Ryan made a trip to the eye doctor, Ty to the vet for blood tests, and Addy to the OB. We headed down to the OB around 10 and got in pretty quickly. It is always a relief to see that your little one is developing as it should and we were not disappointed. We patiently waited as the technician poked around and took several pictures and measurements of different areas - head, torso, leg bone, heart, etc. The baby looks great, measuring on its due date and is in the 94th percentile.
Get to it! Right? So the news everyone wants to know... sugar and spice, Ethan was right! We're expecting a little girl. Ethan has said that it was a baby sister all along and he is not disappointed. It is true that Addy wanted a boy, but she is very happy that the baby is growing and is healthy. Ryan is also pleased and will have so much fun spoiling her. We're excited and will have fun looking for things in yellow.

She has a really cute profile, just like Ethan did. She also looks like her head takes after her brother - big! We're so excited that she is healthy and look forward to seeing her grow - and Addy's belly to expand. We'll have another ultrasound in 8 weeks to make sure that she's still on target.

Yippee! Congrats guys! I can't believe what a clear ultra-sound that is. I could never really tell what anything was in mine. How fun!
We are happy for you. You will have the perfect little family. Girls really are fun but prepare yourself for DRAMA.
Very exciting...congrats! Little girls are fun too! Ethan will be a great big brother!
Congratulations! I agree that you'll need to prepare for the drama, drama, drama :) Raven is 11 now and she is one big ball of emotion. It's a lot of fun though to see so much of myself in her (good and bad :)
Even if you're dolling her up in yellow, I'm still going to get her something girly, cute and...pink :)
Sweet...girls are so fun! And I love having my oldest being a boy...Ethan will be a great big brother.
