Addy had made arrangements for Ethan to have a play date with his friend from our old ward, Bryson. It was also a play date for the Mom's, since it is a rare opportunity for a stay-at-home parent to have an adult conversation during the day.
Unfortunately, our friends ended up on the other side of Tumbleweed Park and the boys enjoyed playing... with their Mom's. Ethan explored the playground equipment, but had the most fun digging in the sand. Addy decided that since Ethan missed out playing with his buddy, we would have lunch at McDonald's and play at the 'play place'. It was a fun day, but we hope that we will enjoy it with friends next time.
