She's Older Than She's Ever Been

This week we have been celebrating Addy's 28th birthday. Since the past few months have been full of celebrations, we tried to keep it small.

On Wednesday, Addy and Ethan had a play date with friends, Natalie and Bryson. The boys played with toys and then we headed to McDonald's for lunch and fun at the Toddler Play Place. We spent about 3 hours at McDonald's... needless to say, the boys were having fun... and the Mom's were enjoying the company of another adult. Ryan surprised Addy with some Scrapbooking Software, hoping that she would be able to personalize our blog with, and Godiva Chocolate. We've never had Godiva before... mmm... it was delicious! However, we are both cheap and still prefer less expensive See's for special occasions. We ended our evening with dinner at Pei Wei and running errands at Target. The day was pretty ordinary, but special with phone calls from family... thanks Mom, Anjie, Patricia & Ally!

We decided to celebrate with a few friends on Friday with dinner at Red Robin and then games at our house. Very low key, but still fun. We played SingStar 80's and Boxers and Briefs while munching on homemade salsa, candy, brownies, and ice cream. It was fun and as always, way too short. We have great family & friends and wish that we could always celebrate every occasion with all of them... unfortunately there is a little thing called a budget.
