Uneventful...

We headed out this morning just before 10:00 to start our short trek to California. Both Ryan and Addy had their fingers crossed that all would go smoothly. We purchased a portable DVD Player so Ethan could enjoy a movie or two on the ride over, we had plenty of good movies and music to choose from, and lots of snacks to make sure no one went hungry... a combination for a smooth ride. We were pleased that all went well and that we did not experience any recurrences of our last trip (throw-up). We followed the MapQuest directions and as we were nearing the hotel and talking about dinner, Addy realized we forgot to pack one important item... the stroller. We originally planned to check out a BBQ place we had seen on 'Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives', but decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory after stopping at Target to buy a stroller (cheaper than renting one for 3 days at Disneyland). Ryan had never had anything but dessert at Cheesecake Factory and enjoyed a generous helping of meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Addy had some orange chicken and Ethan shared some white rice - one of his favorites right now. We all enjoyed a slice of Godiva Cheesecake... mmmm! Afterwards, we strolled around the area and headed to the hotel for bath time and Ryan went to the grocery store to pick up some perishable items. Overall, it was a pretty uneventful day, but in a good way.
