Today Ethan and Addy went to the Zoo with our friends from Ray 1st Ward. It was an Enrichment Activity, but since we see them so much we still attend some of their mid-week activities. Ethan loves to see his friends and Addy enjoys having an adult to talk to during the day.

Last year we didn't find them in the Zoo until it was almost lunch time, but this year we had great luck and found them just outside the gate. We first checked out the giraffes and then the group kind of split.

We had the pleasure of hanging out with Christina and Emerson and decided to see some of the bigger animals before the sun got too hot. Ethan and Emerson had fun watching the Meerkats and the lady cleaning their environment, the Baboons grooming each other, and the Cheetahs running and climbing trees. Last time we went that route there was a lot less activity, so this was nice.

We moved onto the Squirrel Monkeys and down a trail that looped through some Jungle looking area. Ethan's favorite was watching a Sting Ray that he named Mr. Ray, original, yes. We headed to the Petting Zoo and the Little People Farm. Blood sugar started to drop, so we caught the Elephants on the way out and found a shady place to eat lunch. It was a fun morning and we had a great time chatting and hanging out with some of our favorite people!

Glad you came with us. Sorry we didn't see more of you but glad you caught us at the gate so you could hang with Christina.
