Almost There

Our Master Bedroom is almost finished... Addy has been busy painting for the past several weeks and she is nearing completion. In our old home, we only used two colors - white for the ceiling, trim, and doors and a neutral for the walls. Maybe four... there were two small accents - one in each bedroom. We mainly did it that way so when we went to sell, we wouldn't have to do any repainting and someone could see themselves living there. It worked, but now that we are planning on living here long term, it is ALL about CoLoR! We decided to use five different colors - white for the ceiling, trim, and doors, and a neutral, brown, light blue, and a shade darker of light blue for the walls.
The paint is up, minus some trim work in the bathroom and a coat or two on the doors (Ryan's job) and Ryan and Addy are happily sleeping in their own bedroom again (Addy moved the bed to an empty spare room, hence the ding in the footboard of the bed... ouch). More photos will be posted later, but here are some teasers. There will soon also be photos of Ethan's big boy bedroom... the paint has been purchased, but Ryan forbade Addy of starting new projects before vacation. (No... a big boy bedroom does NOT come with any type of announcement and won't for quite some time!) We'll also post a few other photos of the house... a request from a good friend. Enjoy!
