Change... Change is Good

Last week in Sacrament Meeting, our Bishop announced that there would be a Stake Meeting the following Sunday to realign our ward boundaries. The week was full of ward members speculating how we would be split. Good news... the speculation is over and we know what is ahead of us.

Ryan attended the meeting and came home to give Addy and Ethan the gist. We had a feeling that they would split our community from the community north of us - there just aren't that many members in our little area and tons in the other. They did. Our community and parts of a couple others have been split and combined with areas south and east of us.

We have met some amazing people in our old ward and have faithfully served, but we have never really felt like we fit in. We are excited to meet new people and hopefully serve in different positions. The only thing that we aren't looking forward to is our new time... late afternoon.

The gospel is spreading and the Church is growing... as a friend of ours would say, 'BEAUTIFUL!' We're positive that this won't be the last split our area goes through, but are happy to know that we can have things shaken up every once in a while without moving.

It was great to hear from you! I can't believe Ethan is already 2! He's as cute as he always was. I'm glad I can keep up with you guys, it sounds like things are going well.

Hey cousin. It's so fun to read and get caught up on your life. Ward splits are always interesting and it's amazing the buzz it creates among the members. I hope you mesh well into your new ward and have new opportunities to serve. Take care

So how is your new ward? I hope you guys are able to feel a little more a part of it. We haven't seen you guys in forever! We'll have to figure out a play date soon. Are you guys still going to the library?
