Blink Blink

Last Thursday Addy and Ethan were at Cub Scouts and Ethan was sitting at the counter of the home we were at. During the activity, he would turn to Addy and say 'Hi, Mom' accompanied with a blink, blink. We thought that he was just doing it to be cute or maybe he thought it felt funny, but he did it all of the time.

Saturday he was still doing it and some of our friends even asked about it. Addy started to worry... what if there was something in his eye? What if he had scratched his eye and caused permanent damage? We decided to call a man in the ward we recently were split from who is an Optometrist. He said that unless his eyes looked red, irritated, and were tearing too much, he probably was fine. He dropped off some eye drops to apply, just in case.

Ethan continued blinking and wanted nothing to do with the drops. It started to get less and less, unless someone mentioned it, but today we have hardly seen it at all. Relief! Thanks for the help Jon - we're blessed to be surrounded by great people!
