Light Rail

Today Addy and Ethan headed into Tempe to drop Ethan at Grandma Louise's house so Addy could go get her teeth cleaned. Little did we know that a trip to the dentist would turn into so much fun. Addy dropped and dashed off to the appointment and back in a little over an hour. When she returned, Grandma asked if we wanted to go for a ride into Downtown Phoenix on the Light Rail. We jumped on the offer - it isn't every day that you get a Grandma of 14 to yourself. We went to a Park & Ride, purchased tickets, and boarded the 'train', as Ethan called it. We enjoyed seeing different parts of town and pointed out things to Ethan. He especially enjoyed the Castle... where the Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) lives. We rode to Copper Square where we enjoyed lunch at Quizno's. After lunch, we walked a little ways to get back on the Light Rail. The ride back seemed to go faster and we only had a few encounters with some questionable people. Thanks for the treat Grandma Louise!
