We decided that it might be a good idea to take Ethan to a park nearby to test out his amusement park riding skills in lieu of our trip to Disneyland. Freestone Park in Gilbert has a train, carousel and a few other kiddie rides. Ethan loves a series of songs on Playhouse Disney called Choo Choo Soul, so we thought he might enjoy riding the train. We were right! He loved it and was singing the theme song - to the best of his ability.
We also rode the carousel. He enjoyed it, but preferred sitting on the bench rather than the horse. After riding the train and carousel several times, we fed the ducks and checked out the skate park. Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch at Dilly's Deli. It was a delightful Saturday morning activity that we were able to enjoy with the Pout's and each other.
