It is a well known fact that Addy is a picky eater. Recently, we have discovered that Ethan is even pickier! Have you ever had a kid that refuses to eat dinner and then wakes up in the middle of the night hungry? We were quickly getting tired of waking up in the middle of the night, so we have been letting Ethan eat Cheerios before he takes a bath. I'm sure other parents and Pediatricians think we are nuts, but hey, sleep is important. On a typical morning, Ethan will eat a banana and drink some milk. This morning was no different, but after the banana and milk he wanted something more. (Usually he waits about 30 minutes before he eats more.) He wanted oatmeal... really bad. He had a hard time waiting for the water to boil, let alone for it to cook. He quickly ate an entire bowl (about 1 cup) and then went on playing. After we played and went on a bike ride, Ethan decided he was hungry again. What did he want? 'Mo-me'. Yes, more oatmeal.
