Ryan recently had 'Bring A Child to Work' at GD and was asked to have an activity for the kids. He had done it a few years ago and it went well so he decided to do it again. General Dynamics has several different divisions and one is Aerospace. Ryan had the kids make rockets with Alka-Seltzer, 35mm film canisters, and soda/water. He had some left overs, so he and Ethan spent some time launching rockets in the backyard. Some of them went as high as the corner of the house - Ethan was impressed.
Since we were outside, we decided to get out the sprinkler and water blasters. Ryan is genius when it comes to making up games and Ethan eats them up! Today they were the Autobots and would run through the sprinklers to destroy the Decepticons. This game was no different, Ethan couldn't get enough of it!
