Swim Lessons

Ethan finished up two weeks of swim lessons this morning. He had lessons with the same teacher as last year - Miss Jackie. We weren't too shocked to see that he didn't forget much. He cried a little at each lesson and continually asked if he was finished, but he survived! He can do ballerinas (going under water and turning around in a circle), dive for candy (or sharks), jump off the edge, monkey walk to the steps, climb out of the pool by himself, and is relaxing while floating with help. Several mornings he would tell Addy, "Ethan can't swim." Yes, he speaks in 3rd person often, but he quickly learned that he can swim. He's doing great and we feel like he would be able to get himself out of the pool if he ever fell in. Good job Ethan!
